Guests of coach and tour operators brought to Excursions™ 2017 at Alexandra Palace, North London on Saturday, 28th January will take a step back in time to the 19th century world of Jane Austen as they receive a special welcome in a unique 'JA200' themed area commemorating the 200th anniversary of the romantic author's death.
Hampshire Cultural Trust is working with Jane Austen's House Museum, Winchester Cathedral and many other partners to celebrate Jane's creativity, talent and life in Hampshire with a packed programme of exhibitions events and performances throughout the county during 2017.
Only open to VIP guests, the JA200 area will provide a taste of what's to come with personal items that belonged to Jane Austen, Regency music, specialist tour guides and a preview of beautiful artist designed benches from Basingstoke's 'Sitting with Jane Trail', all providing inspiration for 2017 group visits.
VIP visitors will also have fast track entry and receive complementary drinks and a welcome bag with lots of goodies.
Coach operators who took a similar opportunity to bring their key clients to Excursions™ in the past have seen direct bookings as a result; it's also an excellent way to treat clients to a day out.
With an expected attendance of 1,200 quality buyers and some 300 exhibitors from the UK and Europe, Excursions™ will be the place to meet, network and pick up new inspiration for group day trips, short breaks and holidays.
To book a private coach arrival and benefit from this VIP experience, contact the show organisers Tourism South East on Tel: 023 8062 5516 or visit http://www.excursions2017.com for more information; a familiarisation trip can also be arranged on route to the show. Registration for FREE entry is also now open online.
