Suffolk tourism showcased to the world

VISIT Suffolk showcased the county at a special Tower of London exhibition where representatives sported 'I'd Rather Be in Suffolk' polo shirts.
The event, hosted by chairman of VisitEngland Penelope, Viscountess Cobham, invited destinations from all over the UK to take part in the event which highlighted the best of each county to over 100 UK and foreign travel and news journalists, as well as invited guests and dignitaries.
Visit Suffolk destination manager Amanda Bond said: "This was a unique and fantastic opportunity to meet key national and international media and dignitaries in one central venue. Visit Suffolk continues to support the wider tourism cause and reap the longer term benefits by capitalising on opportunities that enable us to raise the profile of our great county and demonstrate the many reasons for visitors to travel outside of London."
