Research into Scottish heritage tourism

THE future of heritage tourism in Scotland has been studied as part of a project to boost visitor numbers in the area.
The Historic Properties Group - a partnership of Historic Scotland, Historic Houses Association and the National Trust for Scotland - commissioned research that focussed on what the heritage industry needs to do to perform better.
Linda Fabiani, minister for culture, said: "Scotland's high-quality heritage attraction sector has so much to offer the tourist."
