New group packages, from the Ironbridge Gorge Museums


The Ironbridge Gorge Museums are introducing an exciting range of special events and exhibitions plus new package offers for groups visiting the Shropshire attractions during 2019.

See the iconic Iron Bridge unveiled in it's all new red colour following extensive conservation work by English Heritage; relax in the new Furnace Eatery opening late spring at Coalbrookdale with menus created by celebrity Executive Chef, Marcus Bean, and make the most of discounted group rates with prices held for 2019.

Groups can also enjoy a calendar full of events and experiences. Highlights at Blists Hill Victorian Town include the Steampunk Festival on 22 and 23 June; Steam Weekend 17-18 August and the popular Victorian Christmas Weekends on 7-8 and 14-15 December.

New day trip packages include 'Iron: Past, Present and Future' combining Blists Hill Victorian Town with the British Ironworks Centre in Oswestry and 'All Aboard' taking in a morning cruise on the Severn around Shrewsbury on board the Sabrina and exploring Blists Hill during the afternoon.

Discounted admission is available to all Museums for groups of 15 plus with visits booked in advance. There is free coach parking adjacent to the museum sites; group leaders and coach drivers are entitled to complimentary admission when accompanying a group and coach drivers will be given a free refreshment voucher.
