Hatton Adventure World will open a brand new interactive maze on 22 July, made out of corn and built on a massive site measuring over three acres. From above, the Mega Maze spells out the words "Hatton" and explorers of all ages will be able to challenge their orientation skills, unlock codes and navigate their route to search for mystery characters.
The "Bale Art Challenge" will see 12 objects such as bunnies, caterpillars and a tractor made out of straw bales and positioned around the site for visitors to find. There will be a competition to find all 12 with Hatton vouchers up for grabs. In addition there will also be a photo competition with the top prize being an ipad.
Back by popular demand this summer is 'Water Wars', a water-based interactive game, which proved a massive hit last summer. The game challenges friends and family to a spraying, sprinkling or saturating battle by catapulting giant water balloons at each other. Opponents go to their battle stations and place a balloon in the launcher, pull down and take aim! The balloon soars through the air and comes down on the opponent's battle station. Timed battles with water pistols and obstacles to hide behind are held throughout the day for visitors to take part in.
For older children (8yrs+) there's also a packed programme of daily activities. Throughout the day children can get into camouflage gear to face three exciting outdoor Laser Combat challenges; Death Match, Domination and Capture the Flag!
In addition there are the usual activities that make Hatton a great family day out in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. Each afternoon visitors can place bets on which sheep will gallop around the Grand National Track the fastest and birds of prey will provide spectacular aerial displays. Visitors can also explore the world of exotic animals in Scales and Tails, watch the goats and other animals in the renovated outdoor Farm Yard and get up close to the first ever wallabies family and baby Valentine.
Plus there's the Tractor Safari and interactive animal areas where visitors can feed the animals, cuddle the guinea pigs and meet donkeys, lama's and alpaca's which are new to Hatton. Other activities include the family theatre where Zoobee entertains with daily Family Cabaret Shows and the huge indoor soft play area 'Snorty's Superslide Mania'!
Carron Smith, Marketing Manager at Hatton said "We're delighted to be hosting our Great Summer Adventure at Hatton and opening our brand new maze which will challenge visitors looking for adventure. Our Water Wars was a sure-fire hit last summer and is certain to be a great way to cool down this summer. We'd recommend that visitors bring a change of clothes as they may need them!"
The entry all-inclusive price takes away the worry of finding any hidden extras as all activities are included. Visitors can book online with advance bookings discounts.
