Longleat House hosts European tourism visit
LEADING figures from the European tourism industry have enjoyed an evening in the luxurious surroundings of Longleat House as part of a fact-finding tour of England.
The event, which was jointly organised with Bath Tourism and Visit England, attracted interest from as far afield as Spain, Italy, Belgium and Germany.
The group, representing European corporate and incentive travel buyers, were given a familiarisation visit around the award-winning Wiltshire attraction.
The evening included a drinks reception in the Great Hall of Longleat House, a guided tour of the State Rooms, dinner in the Green Library and the opportunity to enjoy some close encounters with a variety of exotic animals.
