Kent pub adds luxury bedrooms

A PUB in Kent has opened four French boutique style bedrooms, following a £140,000 refurbishment by brewer Shepherd Neame and licensees Tony and Sharon Stevens.
The double rooms at No. 64 at the Joiners are named Amelia, Olivia, Evangeline and Beatrice and feature original marble topped furniture, quality decor, White Company products and bath robes.
Other facilities include flat screen LCD TVs, coffee pod machines, iPod stations and complimentary WiFi.
Sharon said: "We had the idea while on holiday in France when we stayed in a boutique hotel in La Rochelle which we thought was very similar to this building. There is not much high quality accommodation in this part of Kent so we hope to offer something different."
