Hatton Shopping Village to host exciting events

Hatton Shopping Village, the quintessentially English shopping village part of Hatton Country World, is to host a number of exciting events this summer including markets, a craft fayre, gardening workshops for children and several car clubs.

Summer Markets will take place on 4 & 5 August and from 25 - 27 August featuring a diverse range of stalls from local suppliers selling scarves, purses, jewellery, cards, books, photo frames, handbags, clothes, personalised wall and desk clocks, key-rings, accessories, cuddly animal toys, skincare and gifts for animal lovers. An Autumn Craft Fayre will take place on the 8 & 9 September featuring quality gifts and crafts from a host of individuals showcasing their talents. Finally a Children's Market will take place on 15 & 16 September featuring a range of products for babies and children up to the age of 12 years. There will also be a range of children's activities plus information on local activities and classes in the area.

Lottie Newitt, who took over The Alfresco Style - Garden Boutique at the end of April, will be offering children's workshops so children can learn about plants and how to grow their own. In small groups with a fun teaching programme, children can get hands on with planting and take home their own creations. The workshops will run on 1, 8, 14 & 21 August and cost from £5 - £10 per person dependant on the subject.

For car enthusiasts there is the chance to meet up with three different car clubs. The Toyota Enthusiasts Club will meet on 11 & 12 August showcasing a great selection of cars from Celica to Crown and MR2. The Triumph Dolomite Club will meet on 9 September showcasing the world's largest gathering of Coventry-made, Triumph Dolomite and Toledo cars and finally the Midlands Austin 7 Club will meet on 9 September for their end of season rally.
