Ford Fans are in for a treat at dedicated Classic Rally!

The British Motor Museum will host the biggest Rally of Classic Fords in the UK on Sunday 21 July. 'The Old Ford Rally', now in its 11th year, will enable Ford fans to see around 400 classic Fords, many of which are aged between 50 - 100 years old. The vehicles on display also include commercials, tractors and models with a Ford engine built up to 1995. The Museum are also hosting the Capri 50th Anniversary and the Sunbeam Alpine 60th Anniversary celebrations on the same weekend enabling visitors to see even more cars!

Visitors can see a huge range from Model T's to the cars of the pre-war austerity years as well as the more luxurious post-war Zephyr's, Zodiac's and Granada's. There will also be the popular Anglia's, Mk1 and Mk2 Cortina's, Capri's, Escort's and Fiesta's.

In addition there will be an outdoor autojumble for those looking for parts to complete their restoration projects and an arena with displays and commentary. Live music will be performed from singing trio 'My Favourite Things' combining authentic dance moves and classic hits from the 1920's-1950's. The Midlands Meccano Guild will also be featuring an exhibition of hand-built models on display alongside some indoor traders selling models.
