Festival impact to be measured in research project
THE impact which the Edinburgh festivals have on the city and Scotland as a whole are to be measured in a new research project.
The project, which will measure the impact of all 12 Edinburgh Festivals, will look at the economic benefits as well as media profile, social and cultural benefits and environmental outcomes.
The work has been commissioned by six Scottish partners including EventScotland, City of Edinburgh Council and Festivals Edinburgh.
