Family activities on offer at the British Motor Museum this Christmas!

The British Motor Museum has a whole host of family friendly activities on offer during the Christmas season to get everyone into the festive spirit whatever the weather!
A lively Christmas lecture, ideal for families, will take place on 3 December hosted by Steve Liddle, Principal Aerodynamicist at Renault Sport Racing. The morning will begin with an inspiring lecture and Q&A session. Steve will explain how an interest in science led to a fascinating career which started in aerospace and has since reached Formula One! The afternoon session will explore the science of aerodynamics in a fun and interactive workshop. Places can be reserved online.
A Christmas Crafts weekend takes place on 10 & 11 December. Visitors can decorate car-shaped salt dough decorations to take home and hang on their tree or make their own car-shaped Christmas cards.

The Christmas Trail runs from 9 - 23 December. Younger visitors can help Martin the Mechanic get Santa back on the road to deliver his presents. Santa's sleigh is broken and the reindeer have escaped, so find the things needed to fix the sleigh and round up the reindeer in the Museum to earn a reward for helping Santa!

All activities are included in the standard admission price. The lecture is ideal for 8yrs+ (children aged under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). Gift Aid season tickets are valid for all these activities. The Christmas Crafts weekend and Trail is suitable for 3+ years. Please note the Museum is closed from 24 December - 2 January inclusive.
