Embrace all things Land Rover at nation's favourite 4X4 show!

Land Rover fans are in a for a treat when the British Motor Museum hosts its popular and successful 'Gaydon Land Rover Show' on the 11 & 12 May. In its fifth year, the dedicated weekend show will showcase a huge selection of models from 1948 to the present day. This year the show is supported by Peter James insurance who have been at the forefront of the specialist vehicle insurance industry for almost 40 years.
At the centre of the show is the Arena providing entertainment over the weekend. Dave Barker and Tim Watson will lead an enthusiastic and knowledgeable arena team. They will provide commentary and invite owners, restorers, club members and enthusiasts of the world of Land Rovers to share their stories. On the Sunday, the Ferguson 4 Wheel Drive Club will be displaying a range of cars with Ferguson technology plus launching their new book "Traction for Sale".
Children can showcase their vintage and modern mini Land Rovers at a special 'Mini Me' parade in the arena on the Saturday. Those who are fiercely competitive can take part in the Land Rover team quiz ending with the grand final on Sunday to declare the Land Rover Academician of the Year 2019! Clubs, exhibitors and visitors are encouraged to enter in teams of two and test their knowledge. Prizes and certificates will be awarded at each round. On the Sunday visitors can enjoy live music from popular singing trio 'My Favourite Things' who will perform a selection of vintage hits and invite visitors to join in and sing along.
Visitors can browse for merchandise and vehicle parts in the trade area which offers much sought-after spare parts. The Museum and Collections Centre will also be open where visitors can view a wide range of Land Rovers, including the original HUE 166.
Tom Caren, Show Manager at the British Motor Museum stated "The Gaydon Land Rover Show is an absolute must event for fans of this iconic marque. Thousands of enthusiasts and club members come along and enjoy a great family day out. It's a great opportunity to admire other Land Rovers and chat with fellow enthusiasts. With displays, live music, quizzes, parades and club celebrations, the show has something for everyone and for those wanting to make a weekend of it, camping is also available."
Advance ticket prices are: Adults £11.50, Children £7 (5-16 years), Under 5 free, Concessions £10.50. Camping is just £10 per person for one night or £20 for the weekend. On the day tickets and camping are more expensive. Anyone wishing to enter their Land Rover into the show can do so for just £7. This also includes entry to the show for the driver and passenger for the weekend. Additional tickets are available to purchase if extra passengers are required. Advance vehicle entry closes on Tuesday 7 May.
