Counties lead new trend in tourism


NORTHUMBERLAND, Essex and Shropshire are among a group of UK counties leading a new trend in tourism, it has been claimed.
According to IMFS Leisure - a finance arranger for buyers of holiday properties - the most up and coming destinations are those which have unspoiled landscapes and activities such as walking and pony trekking.
The company looked at which of Britain's regions in 2010 recorded the biggest rises in popularity among holiday homes buyers, compared with previous years.
