Classic Van & Pickup Show returns for its third year

The popular Classic Van & Pickup Show will return for a third year to the British Motor Museum on Sunday 7 August. The show, which is dedicated to light commercial vehicles including pickups, ice-cream vans, campers, taxi's, hearses and police cars, will also incorporate the 10th year of the Transit Van Clubs annual Rally which takes place on the 6 & 7 August.

Around 600 vehicles including those from The Transit Van Club, The Post Office Vehicle Club and the Classic Hearse Register are expected to take part. These vehicles will appear alongside the Morris J Type Register and the Morris Commercial Club. All classic light commercial vehicles including custom street vans are welcome, no matter what the make or their condition.

The Transit Van Club Rally will take place over the weekend and will feature seminars/videos with talks given by Peter Lee on the Saturday. The main van display day for the Transit Van Club and Transit driving challenges will take place on the Sunday alongside the Classic Van and Pick Up Show.

Tom Caren, Show Manager for the British Motor Museum said "This is a must see show for all lovers of van, pick-ups and other light commercial vehicles which are often overlooked at other shows. This unique show puts van's and pick-ups into the spotlight for a change."

Tickets for the Show & Rally cost £14 for adults, £9 for children and £39 for a family. Discounted tickets are available in advance online. Camping costs £25 per pitch for 2 nights.
