British Motor Museum to host Europe's biggest Slot Car event!




The 'UK Slot Car Festival' is returning to the British Motor Museum for a weekend showcasing the world of Slot Cars on Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 May. Billed as Europe's biggest and best slot car event, this exciting festival promises to be another great family day out with plenty of activities on offer.

The Festival will feature all of the major manufacturers including the iconic Scalextric along with Carrera, SCX, Slot.it, NSR, Ninco, H0 AFX & many more. New for 2018 is an amazing model village rally track and more historic brands such as Minic Motorway, Playcraft and Wren.

The festival aims to bring every aspect of the Slot Car world to its audiences including collectors, racers and families. There will be plenty of interactive activities to enjoy including a new international slot racing competition hosted by Slot.it, a mini racing competition, oval banger racing, a drag strip, H0 Scale tracks, digital lay-outs, a comprehensive retail area featuring over 60 trade stands and a Slot stunt show.
Visitors can also meet the manufacturers and swap, buy and sell cars as well as meet other like-minded enthusiasts, plus play for free on a host of tracks showcasing the very latest innovations such as the - Pro App, controlled racing and Arc Air - wireless hand throttles from Scalextric.
Julie Scale, show organiser said, "Europe's biggest and best Slot Car event is a fantastic hands-on weekend for all the family to enjoy. Appealing to collectors and car fanatics, the festival also offers everything you could want to know about starting a new hobby!"
