ARUNDEL Castle in West Sussex has re-opened to visitors; promising a thrilling events calendar for the 2014 season alongside 40 acres of stunning grounds and gardens and a wealth of historical treasures.
Visitors can enjoy a host of events at the Castle, with new offerings for 2014 including Life in a Medieval Castle, taking place on August 16-17.
2014 will also see the return of Arundel Castle's Medieval Joust and Tournament Week, where the Knights of England will be vying to continue their winning streak.
Castle manager Bryan McDonald said: "We are delighted to have opened our doors to visitors for this exciting new season.
"It is always enjoyable to see visitors enthused by the Castle's 1,000 year history and inspired by our beautiful gardens.
"With the calendar of events and grand gardens displays we have planned, I feel confident that 2014 will be another splendid year for Arundel Castle and its visitors."
