A Summer of Spectacular Sculptures, Romantic Roses, Music and More!

With the promise of warm days ahead, there's still time to plan in a memorable Group visit to Borde Hill Garden. Summer is a perfect time to witness the beauty of the Rose Garden and herbaceous borders ablaze with colour and scent.

When government advice allows, groups can enjoy pre-booked tours of the Garden where our knowledgeable guides will bring the fascinating history of Borde Hill to life. Enjoy a guided tour with our Head Gardener this summer to include the romantic Rose Garden planted with 750 David Austin roses, or a tour later in the year to be amazed by the magnificent autumn colour.

Borde Hill Garden has a beautifully decorated marquee that can be booked for exclusive use during a group visit. This is the ideal place to relax, enjoy a buffet lunch or cream team, and reflect on what you have seen. If you prefer to eat al fresco, we can offer alternative take away options to include a packed lunch to enjoy in the Garden. The Gardeners' Retreat Café is also open every day serving light lunches, cakes and bakes, as well as delicious barista coffee and locally produced ice-creams.

Borde Hill also continues its joint ticket offer with The Bluebell Railway - a neighbouring Sussex attraction just 15 minutes from the Garden - please check their opening times. Groups can enjoy a relaxing journey in timeless comfort onboard one of the famous steam locomotives, followed by a leisurely afternoon stroll around Borde Hill. What's more, we've also teamed up with Sussex Prairie Garden, where groups can enjoy exclusive morning access to Britain's largest 'Prairie' or 'Naturalistic' garden, with eight acres to roam around, followed by an afternoon enjoying the more formal aesthetics at Borde Hill. Offering a perfect day out in the beautiful Sussex countryside.

There's also an enticing line up of summer events which are perfect for Groups or individuals:
