Wedgwood, Britain's leading ceramic maker to open innovative new Visitor Experience in 2015

Wedgwood in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, has been welcoming visitors to its premises for over 250 years, first in Etruria and, since the 1940s, at its garden factory, the Wedgwood Estate, in Barlaston, five miles south of the historic Potteries conurbation in Staffordshire.
To ensure that Britain's première ceramic manufacturer is fit for the 21st century, a £34 million development programme is now underway at the Wedgwood Estate. Opening in 2015, the inspirational new complex will combine a modern factory tour, the award winning Museum, a state of the art Visitor Experience including design workshops, and a flagship retail store with a signature restaurant. Groups and individual visitors will both continue to be welcome at the revitalised Wedgwood Estate; discounted rates will be available for groups and special itineraries can be created to suit each party's specific needs.
The investment recognises the reputation of Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire as a tourism destination popular with national and international visitors. Whilst the building work takes place rest assured it's 'business as usual' at the Wedgwood Estate, with the Museum, factory tours and a factory shop, restaurant and hands-on artists' studios all remaining open to visitors.

Come for two hours or spend the day - either way visitors can be certain of Wedgwood's legendary warm and friendly reception!
