Heritage Railway Association
The Heritage Railway association is the trade association representing the heritage and tourist railways in Great Britain and Ireland. Most of the major railway museum and steam centres are also members.
One of the important activities of the Association is the promotion of member railways to the various sections of the travel trade ,including coach operators and group travel organisers. Promotional material includes the annual publication of a Travel Trade Manual and a national timetable for heritage railways. The association also publishes
A "Guide to Steam and Tourist Railways in Great Britain and Ireland". This gives the location and contact details for all members of the Association.
